Big Brothers Big Sisters

Today we had our Big Brothers Big Sisters Fundraising Golf Tournament.

It was great to see everyone out here supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation. We had 17 foursomes out today enjoying the weather and playing golf.

Congratulations to Matt Armstrong, Adam Waggonner, Anthony Fink, and Jake Lawver for shooting a 55 and taking first place winning a $400  prize!

CMGA Opening Day

Today we kicked off the season with our CMGA Opening Day.

We had 66 golfers out today who signed up to be a Carthage Men’s Golf Association Member and to play in our 4 Person Scramble! It was a great event with breakfast in the morning, warm weather, and fun on the golf course!

Congratulations to Garrett Stallings, Mike Davis, and Paul Carter for winning 1st place holding the title of 2022 CMGA Opening Day Champions shooting a 61 and winning a scorecard playoff with two other groups who shot 61. They each won $65 in Club Credit for taking 1st place. We placed the top 7 teams and you can check them out below!

  • 2nd Place – Mark Peterson, Vernon Bay, John Zamouski, and Jake Comer shot 61 and won $60 each in Club Credit.
  • 3rd Place – Steve Watts, Dan Curry, Dave Adams, and Mike Hoffman shot 61 and won $55 each in Club Credit.
  • 4th Place – Jordan Burks, Jim Dykens, John Murray, and Wayne Lowery shot 62 and won $35 each in Club Credit.
  • 5th Place – Dee Murray, Nic Johnson, Karstan Luchini, and Steve Johnson shot 63 and won $25 each in Club Credit.
  • 6th Place – Lowell Catron, Chase Borland, Robert Heath, and David Hemmingson shot 64 and won $20 each in Club Credit.
  • 7th Place – Maron Towse, Jimmy Grimes, John Pottorff, and Bill Griffiths shot 65 and won $20 each in Club Credit.

CMGA Net Championship

This weekend we held our CMGA Net Championship Golf Tournament. We dodged some bad weather but we were able to get all 36 holes in over 2 days!
 
Karl Moorhead took first place shooting a 2 day total of 146 with a 13 handicap! Congratulations to him!

Knights of Columbus

Yesterday we held our 2nd annual Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament.

This fall event was a 4 person scramble and we had a full field with 20 teams!

After a cookout for lunch, they headed out on the course to enjoy some golf.

Congratulations to Mark Parker, Wayne Marti, Hairy Marti, and Gene Smith for shooting a 56 and taking 1st place!

Big 8 Conference Golf Tournament

Today we held the High School Girl’s Big 8 Conference golf tournament.

Congratulations to Springfield Catholic for shooting a 299 as a team and taking 1st place in the team score!

Reagan Zibilski from Springfield Catholic took the 1st place medal today by shooting a 67 (-4) and winning by 6 strokes! Congratulations to her on this amazing round, and the rest of the top 15 girl’s who qualified as all conference!

Webb City Booster Club

Today we held the 2021 Webb City Booster Club Golf Tournament.

It was a full field of golfers out today supporting Webb City’s Booster Club and helping raise money for them!

We teed off with beautiful weather this morning and finished up the day with Papa Johns Pizza, overall it was a great to be out on the course!

Congratulations to Tanner McNutt, Ryan Sellman, and Jason Bauer for winning a scorecard playoff and taking first place with a 63!

Kiwanis Golf Tournament

Today we held our annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament!

It was beautiful weather here at Carthage Golf Course and after a great lunch provided by Boomer’s BBQ, they all went out to enjoy their round of golf.

CWEP Girl’s Golf Invitational

Today we held our Annual High School Girl’s Golf Invitational.

We had 10 teams here competing for individual and team scores. It was great weather for the girl’s to be out here today.

Congratulations to Emree Cameron from Nevada for shooting a 72 and taking 1st place today!

Carthage won the team score shooting a 371! Make sure to congratulate our Carthage Girl’s next time you see them out on the course!

ServPro Golf Tournament

Today we held our Annual ServPro Golf Tournament.

It was a lot of fun for everyone and we finished the day up with lunch by Ghetto Tacos!  We had 96 golfers out today supporting ServPro, and enjoying the great weather we had for the tournament.

Route 66 Couples Tournament

Over the weekend we had our Route 66 Couples Tournament. We had 63 couples competing in this event and it was a blast!

The course was in great shape, we had great weather, and a lot of fun.

A big shoutout to Cherry’s and the Woodshed for hosting our Route 66 Couples Saturday Night Dinner, lots of great food and a ton of awesome art to look at as well!

Congratulations to Aaron Borland and Andi Taylor for shooting the low round of the weekend with a 2 day 129! They shot 65 in round 1 and 64 in round 2. They weren’t the only good scores this weekend, be sure to check out the full leaderboard by clicking HERE!
