Today we held our CMGA Alternate Shot Golf Tournament. We dodged the rain and were able to finish all 18 holes. Congratulations to Dustin Edge and Tug Baker for shooting the low round of th day and taking first with a 71!
A huge shout out to Seth Colaw for making his first hole in one of his career today on hole #12. Playing 174 yards, Seth hit his 7 iron and it took one hop, and rolled right in for the ace!

Today we held out CWGA Maple Leaf Golf Tournament. It was a 2 person scramble and although it was a little cold all day, everyone had a blast!

Today we held the Carthage Chamber of Commerce Cinco De Mayo Golf Tournament. We had 21 teams supporting the Carthage Chamber of Commerce today!
We had a casino hole, a ladder game on hole 13, a margarita station, and some great golf! It was a lot of fun.

Today we had our Missouri Sports Charity Golf Tournament. We had two shotgun starts today for a total of 131 teams!
We had some great golf, an auction on many awesome items, and BBQ lunch today and it was a great event! It is always great seeing everyone come out and support Missouri Sports Charity.

Today we held the Big 8 Conference Golf Tournament. It was great golf weather for 13 teams to come out and compete for Conference Championships, and Individual.
Congratulations to Nevada’s Owen Swearengin for taking 1st place today shooting a -1, 70! Owen’s 70 along with the other top 3 scores from Nevada gave them a team score of 335 and the overall win to be Conference Champions!

Today the rain held off for us and we were able to play our annual Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament!
We had a full field of golfers today and great breakfast, lunch, and beverages. Everyone had a lot of fun.

Carthage Freshman, Ben Rogers, was competing in a JV Tournament at Schifferdecker Golf Course yesterday morning. On hole #12, a 125 yard par 3 he hit his pitching wedge to make his first hole in one of his golfing career! This a huge accomplishment and to do it in a competitive round is amazing!

Today we held our annual high school Sonic Invitational. We had 15 high school teams competing for team and individual scores. It was great weather and we saw some great golf.
Max Bowman, Glendale, and Owen Swearengen, Nevada, shot the low round of the day at a -3 68! They teed off hole 10 for a playoff for first place, after they both birdied hole 10, they went to hole
11 where Max Bowman had a two putt par to secure the win! Congratulations to both of them on their great round.

Lowell has dedicated nearly 30 years to golf in coaching, playing, and being a mentor to younger generations. Lowell was planned to be inducted during the Hall of Fame tournament and he still will be, but at a later date. We are looking forward to our induction of Lowell Catron, but due to weather conditions we believe that a reschedule date will be more appropriate. We will have a date set for the induction and golf tournament early next week.
Tonight’s format was a 4-man scramble and we had 32 guys come out to compete and have fun in our event.
