2018 Joplin Area Championship sponsored by the Joplin Golf Foundation
The 2018 Joplin Area Championship is ready to roll later this month at Carthage Golf Course and Twin Hills Country Club. The best players in the area will tee it up trying to become the Champion in the regular and senior divisions. The event is always competitive and we see some of the best golf of the year from these competitors. Print your entry off below and compete in the 2018 Joplin Area Championship.
Joplin Area Championship Entry Form
The Joplin Area Championship also serves as the qualifying for the Horton Smith and Ky Laffoon teams. The top 16 in each division will represent Joplin in the annual matches played against Springfield. This is a historic match play event with four ball matches day one and singles matches day two. Joplin is the host for 2018. The matches will be played at Carthage GC on August 18th and Twin Hills CC on August 19th. Both teams will consist of the top 16 + 2 alternates in both divisions.
