We wanted to share with you a very interesting round of golf shot by on of our members here, Jeff Hess.

On Friday the 16th, Jeff Hess played a round here at Carthage. The first thing we want to do is congratulate Jeff on his third Hole in One of his golfing career! As cool as a hole in one is, the scorecard is much more interesting in that. Take a look!

Jeff had a lot of ups and downs in his round. While he is not necessarily happy with his how is round went, it was a one in a million. If you look at his scorecard, you can see that on 18 holes, Jeff recorded the scores of a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9! With lots of ups and downs, within 18 holes he recorded a score from 1-9 on his scorecard.

There are some interesting scorecards in golf, but this is something that needed to be shared! Don’t forget to give Jeff a high five and a congratulations on getting a hole in one on Hole #12 at Carthage next time you see him.

Wags Memorial – To Benefit Christian Heady

That’s a wrap on our second annual Wags Memorial Tournament here at Carthage Golf Course!

We had a full field today with 40 teams out on the golf course helping benefit Christian Heady. It was great to see so many golfers out today supporting Webb City’s Christian Heady.

It was a long day of golf but with great weather, hotdogs and beverages, and great golf, it was well worth it!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped in this tournament as well as a big thank you to all the sponsors.

Today’s low round of the day was 53 shot by Troy Salchow, Bill Albright, Gary Greene, and Larry Cowger!

Yesterday we held our Tri State Contractors 4 Person Scramble Tournament.

We had a great time running the tournament and everyone enjoyed their time out at Carthage Golf Course!

Congratulations to Brandon Poindexter, Justin Underwood, Brian McDermott, and Justin Branham for shooting the low round of the day with a 58!

Carthage Golf Course hopes to see everyone out next year for this great tournament

After rescheduling twice this year, we were finally able to hold our annual Knights of Columbus 3 person scramble!

Today we had a full field of golfers on the course today with 34 teams!

With breakfast, lunch and golf, it couldn’t have been a better day. Congratulations to the winning team Tug Baker, Chance Lowery, and Bryce Benson shooting a 55!

Today we held our second Home Builders Association of the year! Just like the first one, today’s tournament was a success!

We had a lot of good golfers playing today, but we want to give a shoutout to the 4 person scramble with the lowest score of the day shooting a 55 and that was Jordan Burks, Sam Burks, Chris Westin, and Adam Maggard.

Today we held our annual ServPro 4 person scramble golf tournament

It was a beautiful day for golf and it was a lot of fun!

Finishing the day with some great scores, and eating tacos by Ghetto Tacos, made for a fantastic end of the tournament!

A big shout out to Chris Pakitsos, Judd Schossow, Jason Gard, and Jon Schwenker for taking 1st place, winning the scorecard playoff shooting a 58!

Jeff Wagner“Wags” Memorial Golf Tournament

Christian, age 11, is the son of Doug Heady and Ashley Allen. He will be entering the 6th grade at Webb City. He is a kind‐hearted young man, who is very active in his community, plays sports and loves the Kansas City Chiefs. Christian was recently diagnosed with Desmoplastic Sarcoma and is currently being treated at Children’s Mercy but will be participating in clinical trials in the United States due to the rarity of his disease. Christian has a battle on his hands and Wags participants, WE NEED YOU BIG TIME THIS YEAR.

Silent auction will begin Friday evening at Kascade Steakhouse in Carthage and items will also be posted on the wags memorial facebook page

Over the weekend, we held our CMGA Championship / Senior Championship tournament.

It was a two day tournament and the format was individual stroke play. We had a lot of great golfers out on the course making it a tough and competitive field!

Over the 2 day tournament, Garrett Stallings in the Regular Division took first place by shooting a 141. 72 in Round 1 and 69 in Round 2.

In the Senior Division, Steve Watts was the winner shooting a 143 in the two day period. Round 1 he shot 70 and Round 2 he shot 73.

Congratulations to both of them for playing great golf and winning their division!
